Website Features for Swim Teams and Clubs

An Off the Blocks website gives your swim club:

• Use of Off the Blocks software for the public pages of your website
  (see Web Page Modules)
  
  
• Use of Members-Only Off the Blocks software and web pages (see Members Only)
  
  
• Use of Off the Blocks basic website designs (currently there are over 1000). Note that it is easy to switch designs at any time, including a custom design! (see Design Options)
  
  
• Use of Off the Blocks swimming content, such as definitions of swimming jargon; and useful documentation.
  
  
• 5 GB of storage space for web pages, documents, pictures, and other items you want to include on your website (i.e., HTM/HTML, GIF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, PDF, and DOC and several other files types can be uploaded by default.) Need other file types?  Let us know and we'll turn on other options.  Need more space?  Shouldn't be a problem.
  
  
• A URL http://www.offtheblocks.org/yourswimteam. (if you currently own a domain name or plan to buy one (e.g., www.yourswimteam.org), you can use it too.

Upgrades - You can upgrade various features of your Off the Blocks website.
More Domain Names	Purchase your own domain name (e.g., www.yourswimteam.org) or point your current domain name to your Off the Blocks website. See FAQs for options and call us to setup.
Custom web design	Use a custom web design.  We can create a great unique design for your club's website or adapt one that is close to what you want.
Enhance Communication	Want to use your phone to communicate with a whole team with one call? Off the Blocks provides two enhancements: Dyad Basic - Use your cell phone TXT messaging to send messages to website email lists (email, TXT message, or both) Coaches Call - Send voice phone messages to telephone distribution lists Both of these options cost extra, but we believe the prices are very reasonable for those wanting these features!
Live streaming / RSS feeds	Add live streaming of swim meets, RSS feeds (so people can easily link to you and keep up on news), or other special features!  We can create custom software to provide the features you need and help you with these technologies.
Storage	Increase your storage space for video or other large files.  It is unlikely you will need more space (none of our currents clients do and some have been using the system for years), but if you do, space is becoming less expensive every year.
Media	Add video, audio, or other file types to your website (No cost, but we strongly recommend only doing this if you have a webmaster who is knowledgeable about such media.)
Custom navigation	Customize the navigation system to include pop-out or drop-down menus.
