  Steve Neale
Coach Neale has been around Hart swimming from the beginning – literally.  In 1970 Hart High fielded its first swim team (before title IX - so boys only).  The captain of the inaugural squad was senior Steve Neale.    

Coach Neale swam and played water polo for four years at CSUN and competed in three Division II NCAA championships, placing 13th in the 100 breaststroke at the 1974 NCAA finals. After graduation, coach Neale returned to Hart where he served as assistant to coach Joel Barr from 1975 to 1978. From 1979 to 1982 Coach Neale was the head girls coach for Saugus  High School and from 1982 to 1983 he was head water polo coach, girls and boys swim coach  at Simi High School.  In 1984 he returned to become the head girls and boys coach at Hart  High where he as been ever since.  
Coach Neale continues to compete in swimming and masters competition and is a semi-serious triathlete competing in and completing two Hawaiian Ironman World Championships.  During the summer Coach Neale works as a LA County Lifeguard at Castaic Lake. 

  Garrett McQueen

Coach Garrett began swimming with the Old Orchard II Sharks at the age of 8. His love of swimming extended in to his high school years at Hart where he was a varsity team member all four years and was part of Hart's league championship team. Garrett continues his love of the sport and is a now the head coach for the OOII Sharks. He is persuing his degree and hopes to be a teacher soon. Garrett is thrilled to be part of the coaching staff for Hart, working with past coaches and team members.

 Anne Tysver

Coach Anne started swimming at the age of 6 for the Old Orchard I Dolphins. At age 12 she joined Canyons Aquatic Club and started swimming year round. She swam varsity all 4 years at Hart and graduated in 2001.
She then went on to swim at Biola University and competed in the NAIA Nationals each year in the 100 and 200 yd butterfly and the 500 yd freestyle. She was a scholar athlete all four years and graduated with a major in liberal studies and a minor in biblical studies. After college she briefly coached the Old Orchard II Sharks before getting a teaching position out of state where she taught 3rd grade for 7 years. She recently moved back to Santa Clarita and now teaches part time as per two children ages 4 and 5 years old keep her very busy.
Coach Anne loves swimming and is very excited to be coaching along side some of her former coaches, Coach Neale and Becky!!
